ABOUT
Noor is a Spanish/Jordanian multi-disciplinary and contemplative creative communicator, with a background in Architecture, Arts and Cultural Management as well as Art Psychotherapy within EMEA contexts.
​
She has lived in China, Spain, Germany and Jordan.
​
Her experimentations are centered on reaching people through arts, writing and/or the creation of visual, experiential and relational spaces where every person - holding unique richness – is able to reflect on the present moment.
​
She is based between Barcelona and Amman and is currently offering online therapeutic art sessions.
ARTIST STATEMENT ​
​
Inspired by my life narratives, my interests explore the layered themes relating to the action of becoming who we are, the quest for progress despite obstacles or current cultural norms… always fascinated by constant spiritual growth, metanoia, simplicity and wise surrender.
​
I enjoy working on small-scale media, introducing elements of culture, catholic faith and storytelling within time and space as gestural mark-making or sketches.
​
You can find me at the confounding intersection of psychology, theology, history, languages and the creative process - pursuing an understanding of truth and goodness and a thirst for being divinely moulded.
